Since 2026, importers in the European Union of fertilizers, cement, iron and steel, aluminium and hydrogen are subject to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which requires the declaration of the embedded emissions in imported goods.
Alzak supports its European customers by gathering from producers the information required for these reports — such as installation identification, production route and emissions data declared by the manufacturer, whenever available — and by guiding the choice of origins with adequate documentation.
